Emily Lohse-Busch

Executive Director, Arch Grants

As Executive Director of Arch Grants, Emily Lohse-Busch leads strategy, fund development, and day-to-day management of the organization. Emily has years of experience working with nonprofit and social sector organizations around the world, helping to build capacity, develop short- and long-term strategy and maximize stakeholder engagement. Emily is originally from St. Louis, and after graduating from Washington University with a degree in Visual Communications, she moved to Chicago where she lived for almost 10 years. While in Chicago, Emily co-founded a small business that specialized in branding and communications and received her MBA from DePaul University before transitioning into the nonprofit sector, where she worked for several years in the Chicagoland area. Most recently, Emily lived and worked in the DC area, focusing on building capacity and strategy for global nonprofits. Emily is a passionate advocate for St. Louis and the surrounding region, and lives in the Central West End with her husband and two sons.
