C4K Convening: Child Care Workforce

Wendy Gwennap is an Early Childhood Community Coordinator in Adams County with experience in the early childhood special education field. She graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2000 and moved to Nebraska with her husband, Jesse. Gwennap loved teaching Kindergarten and preschool for the public schools before staying at home to raise her two boys, Noah (17) and Gabe (14). She is passionate about early childhood and volunteers many hours supporting children, including six years as PTO president. She is driven by her faith and is known for a compassionate heart and willingness to help others.
