Tierra Stennis-Harper

Creating Better Solutions With Parents and Providers at the Table

Tierra Stennis-Harper is the Early Childhood Community Coordinator (ECCC) at Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative. As the ECCC, Stennis-Harper’s work primarily focuses on helping to identify, connect, and set up opportunities to facilitate problem-solving around gaps and barriers to quality child care services for parents and providers living and working in underserved areas. Her work centers on professional development, parent engagement, community of practice, community collaboration, and Communities for Kids (C4K+). Stennis-Harper finds great joy in being an advocate for BIPOC children and families. She earned a B.S. in education and human sciences with an emphasis in child development from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. In the future, she plans to pursue a degree in infant and early childhood mental health. In Stennis-Harper’s free time, she loves spending time with her husband, their son, family, and friends.
