Mike Feeken came to First Five Nebraska (FFN) after spending more than 14 years as the economic development director in St. Paul, Nebraska, where he managed and coordinated retention, attraction and expansion efforts of the St. Paul business community. First Five Nebraska is a statewide public policy organization that helps shape the public conversation about early childhood to give more Nebraska children a great start and a prosperous future. First Five works closely with elected officials, business and industry leaders, educators, and community stakeholders to advance informed, fiscally responsible early childhood policies and solutions. Feeken, who is president of the Nebraska Economic Developers Association (NEDA), has served on numerous local, regional and statewide organizations including the South Central Economic Development District, Rotary, and Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership. He was elected to the St. Paul City Council in 2020. He received a B.A. in communication production from Hastings College.
