Keith Knudsen

General Session Community Panel

Keith Knudsen grew up in Laurel, Nebraska, and began his employment 41 years ago there at Security Bank, where he is president and CEO. A graduate of Wayne State College and the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, Knudsen is dedicated to civic and community leadership serving as mayor of the City of Laurel, chairman of the Laurel Area Community Foundation Fund Advisory Committee, member of Cedar County Communities for Kids, co-chair of the Laurel Community Center Committee, member of Laurel Economic Development Advisory Council, Nebraska ambassador for the Department of Economic Development, and is a Wayne State Foundation trustee. Through his local and state efforts, he understands the vital need for communities to have access to quality early childhood care and education.
