The Importance of Storytelling

Carrie Malek-Madani joined Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF) in February 2017. Malek-Madani is responsible for developing and implementing NCF’s communications and marketing goals and strategies to build awareness and support for the foundation and its affiliated funds. She creates and oversees the production of NCF’s publications, advertising, social media, and video production. She also assists the foundation’s affiliated funds across the state with press releases, donor stories, fundraising letters, and other marketing tools. Malek-Madani holds a bachelor’s degree in communication: media management from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and a master’s degree in integrated media communications from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s College of Journalism & Mass Communications.
