Allison Jonas

General Session Community Panel

Allison Jonas is privileged to serve as superintendent of Gothenburg Public Schools, a C-1 district comprising 900 students in PreK through Grade 12, 75 teachers, 40 support staff members, and six administrators. Jonas is passionate about empowering teachers to use data to guide instruction and believes that working in a collaborative environment is the best way to ensure student success, teacher efficacy, and job satisfaction. As a superintendent, Jonas recognizes that her most important mission is removing barriers and empowering others to own and maximize their potential. When she’s not at school or working on classwork, she's a wife and busy mother of two.
