Lindsey Jarecki
Community Storytelling
Lindsey Jarecki works as the early childhood community
coordinator for Boone County, Nebraska, and serves on the Board
of Directors for Boone Beginnings Early Childhood and Family
Development Center, Inc., a local non-profit providing high
quality care for children from birth through preschool. Jarecki
additionally volunteers on the Boone County Foundation Fund
Committee. Jarecki was involved in several local initiatives to
increase quality and capacity of care for children such as
establishing the Cardinal Kids Club, which is a STEM-based after
school and summer program for elementary-age children. Before
living and working in Boone County, Jarecki was an elementary
school teacher for Elkhorn Public Schools and received her
undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of
Nebraska at Omaha. She has also worked in a variety of early
learning and care programs in Omaha. Jarecki, her husband Jeff,
and two children (Rhett and Eliza) live on an acreage near
Albion.
