Colten Venteicher
Community-Centered Solutions to Increase Child Care Availability
Colten C. Venteicher is an attorney in Gothenburg, Nebraska. His
practice is focused on estate planning and probate, real estate,
and business and commercial law. He also counsels communities
and businesses with tax increment financing and economic
development projects. Venteicher is a co-owner and publisher of
the Gothenburg Leader, the local weekly newspaper. Venteicher
volunteers as the president of the Gothenburg Early Childhood
Learning Coalition, as vice president of the Gothenburg
Improvement Company and as a member of the Gothenburg Community
Redevelopment Authority. He and the learning coalition are
currently leading the $10.95 million capital campaign for the
Gothenburg Impact Center—a 40,000-square-foot facility with the
mission of providing long-term solutions to early childhood
education capacity and community well-being initiatives.
Venteicher graduated from the Creighton University School of Law
in 2016, summa cum laude. Prior to attending law school, he
earned a Master of Business Administration, as well as a
bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, from the University of
Nebraska at Kearney, where he competed on the cross-country and
track teams. He is a native of Omaha and a graduate of Mount
Michael Benedictine.
