Arabella Pluta-Ehlers
Leveraging New and Evolving Policies and Funds to Support Local Child Care
Arabella Pluta-Ehlers is the program manager for children,
youth, and families at the National Association of Counties
(NACo). In this role, she is responsible for assisting county
officials across the country in their efforts to improve local
services related to children, youth, and families. Pluta-Ehlers
supports the Counties for Kids initiative, a public awareness
campaign for county leaders who are committed to making
investments in children from prenatal to age 3. Prior to joining
NACo, she worked at the Bipartisan Policy Center as project
coordinator for the Early Childhood Initiative and as a senior
research associate at Hanover Research. Pluta-Ehlers holds a
bachelor’s degree in comparative human development from the
University of Chicago.
